Church Season

Worship With Us This Fall!

As we move from fall into Advent, join us for worship, prayer, healing, and opportunities to grow in faith. Together, we will explore how God’s grace calls us to trust, serve, seek justice, and share Christ’s love with our neighbors.

November 7 & 8, 2026

24th Weekend after Pentecost — Healing Service

Readings: 2 Kings 5:1–15a | Matthew 8:2–3

God’s healing grace reaches beyond our expectations and reminds us that no one is beyond God’s love and care.

Join us for a special service of healing, prayer, and blessing as we seek God’s presence in the midst of life’s struggles.

The table doesn’t end at the church walls. We leave the altar transformed to be the hands and feet of Christ, building bridges of unity in our community.

November 14 & 15, 2026

25th Weekend after Pentecost — Called to Mercy and Justice

Readings: Micah 5:2–5a; 6:6–8 | Matthew 9:13

What does God require of us? To do justice, embrace faithful love, and walk humbly with God.

We will reflect on how faith becomes visible through compassion, mercy, and the ways we care for our neighbors.

November 21 & 22, 2026

Christ the King / Reign of Christ — Christ’s Kingdom of Peace

Readings: Isaiah 2:1–4 | Matthew 5:1–12

Jesus shows us a different kind of kingdom—one built not on power and division, but on mercy, peacemaking, justice, and love.

As we celebrate the Reign of Christ, we remember that we are called to be peacemakers in our homes, neighborhoods, and world.

Advent: Being Ready!

Advent invites us to prepare not only for the celebration of Christ’s birth, but also for the ways Christ continues to come among us.

This year, our Advent theme is Being Ready! Together, we will explore what it means to live with trust, courage, justice, and hope.

November 28 & 29, 2026

First Weekend of Advent — Be Ready to Trust

Readings: Habakkuk 2:1–4; 3:3b–6, 17–19 | Matthew 26:36–45

What does it mean to trust God when the future is uncertain?

Through the prophet Habakkuk and Jesus’ prayer in Gethsemane, we discover that faith does not require having all the answers. Faith invites us to remain grounded in God’s promises, even when the path ahead is unclear.

December 5 & 6, 2026

Second Weekend of Advent — Be Ready to Act Justly

Readings: Esther 4:1–17 | Matthew 5:13–16

Sometimes faith calls us to act with courage.

Esther reminds us that we may be placed in particular moments to make a difference. Jesus calls us to be salt and light, bringing hope and justice into the world.

Special Event: Hanging of the Greens — Saturday, December 5

Join us for a special interactive worship service as we prepare our sanctuary for Advent and Christmas!

Together, we will decorate the church, reflect on the meaning of our Advent and Christmas traditions, sing, pray, and prepare our hearts for Christ’s coming.

All ages are welcome to participate!

Whether you have worshiped with us for years, are returning after some time away, or are visiting for the first time, there is a place for you at Holy Trinity.

Come as you are. Experience God’s grace. Join us in sharing faith, hope, and love with our neighbors and the world.
