As of March 15th, due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, all in-person weekend services have been suspended until further notice. While the church is closed to members and visitors Sunday morning, we continue to broadcast the live 9:30am service, with audio over local radio station WRMN 1410am as well as a livestream on YouTube.
Certain groups are meeting on church grounds at the discretion of church authority, with online meetings being recommended supplements for those uncomfortable with attending in person. Masks are mandatory while cleaning and disinfecting procedures are in place for any and all activities.
In regards to when normal services will resume, we are in discussion and agreement with our three local sister congregations (Zion, Bethlehem, and Christ the Lord) on restarting simultaneously as to avoid exclusion of attendees.
Services were initially planned to resume the weekend of October 31/November 1st (Reformation). Unfortunately, due to the situation and at the guidance of the local health department and synod office, this reopening has been postponed.
